WHO WE ARE
We create, educate, provide, inspire, and transform.
Breaking Taboo is dedicated to mental health awareness and suicide prevention education.
Our mission is to kill silence and save lives by breaking the taboo.
We create accessible education for the public on life saving issues, while providing resources and tools to get help, inspiring active conversations, and transforming the way mental health is viewed.

What we do
Through a variety of accessible platforms, we provide life saving education and society changing awareness in modern, digestible formats.
We are national and international. We work with our local communities and schools while pulling together research and providing education and awareness through a variety of platforms in order to bring this very challenging and important knowledge to the public.
Every life saved is a life that matters.
Every treatment obtained is a step toward a life saved.
We want you to know that you are not alone! Mental health is important!
Here’s a sneak peak at one of our projects- our feature length documentary.
How you can help
Our message is that mental health is just as important as physical health, and should be treated that way.
We are creating a world where help is accessible for everyone who wants it without stigma. A world where we can talk about our emotions and mentality. We encourage real discussions, conversations, and education around mental health.
But we can’t do it alone. We need your help. We are a nonprofit and we rely on people like you to help us create this major change. Donations are the life raft of nonprofits. Your gifts fuel all of our work.
Please help us by volunteering or making a donation.
